Halloween Chocolate Marshmallow Treats
* 1 (10 ounce) package marshmallows
* 1/4 cup butter
* 1/4 cup peanut butter
* 5 cups crisp rice cereal
* 1 cup milk chocolate chips
* 1 cup mini marshmallows
* 1 cup milk chocolate chips
* orange sprinkles
In large microwave-safe bowl, combine the 10 ounces of marshmallows with 1/4 cup butter. Microwave on high for 2-3 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking time, until the mixture is melted and smooth. Remove from microwave and stir in peanut butter until blended.
Then add the cereal and stir until coated. Add 1 cup of the milk chocolate chips and the mini marshmallows. Press into a greased 13×9″ pan smooth out, using buttered hands or a buttered spatula.
In small microwave-safe bowl, place 1 cup milk chocolate chips. Microwave on medium for 1-2 minutes, stirring halfway through cooking time, until mixture is smooth. Using a fork, drizzle the melted chocolate over the bars and then sprinkle some orange sprinkles on top for a really festive look. Let stand until cool; store covered at room temperature.
NOTE: You can omit the peanut butter if you’d like.

Chocolate Fondue

My family loves to gather around a fondue pot loaded with warm chocolate and their favorite dippers. Marshmallows, bananas, strawberries, cherries and apple slices are our favorites but you can dip anything you like. How about pretzels or pineapple. Use your imagination and have a little fun.

Chocolate Strawberries
February 19th, 2007    Subscribe To Our FeedWant to impress your family and friends at your next get together. Serve chocolate covered strawberries for dessert. While these little gems look extraordinary, they are very simple to make.
Wash strawberries and let dry thoroughly. Leave the stems on. You can use any kind of chocolate you like, I like to use the semi-sweet chocolate chip morsels you find in the grocery store. Melt the morsels in a double boiler slowly. Dip each strawberry in the chocolate 3/4 of the way and place on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper and put in the refrigerator to set.
While this next step is not necessary, it really makes the presentation look professional. Melt a little bit of white chocolate. Put the melted white chocolate in a plastic baggie and squish it to a corner. Snip a tiny hole in the corner an drizzle little zig zags over the strawberries. Not too much. The contrast between the dark and white chocolate really adds a nice touch. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
Then, find your prettiest serving platter to arrange these delectable beauties on. Everyone will be impressed !
